Okay, I said I would tell you about it and I shall to the best of my ability. ;-) If any of you are familiar with Whitesnake’s Still Of The Night you know exactly what I’m talking about. If you’re not, read well as I try to explain. LOL

Here goes, Morgan. Have no idea if I’ll hit on anything fantastic or not, but I’m giving it a try.

STILL OF THE NIGHT is on the album WHITESNAKE by artist WHITESNAKE released in 1987 (no wonder I like it so much ;-) I was born in ‘87) On it are other hits IS THIS LOVE and HERE I GO AGAIN.

The song is six minutes and forty-one seconds long. The musical orgasm lasts for 36 seconds out of nearly seven minutes. Orgasm starts precisely 3 minutes and 19 seconds into the song. Yes, I checked because I have nothing better to do with my time.

You ride the waves as it washes over you, growing stronger with each note, with each glide of the bow on the strings of the guitar and then it erupts into hard chords that leave you breathless and wanting more. I have to skip it back to start it over again because it’s my favorite part of the entire song and I love hearing the beauty of it as it rushes through me; love the images it evokes, too.  And I’m weird.

Here’s another question. Have you ever seen anyone play a guitar like a violin minus the position it’s held?

You should watch the music video of Still Of The Night by Whitesnake and be prepared to drool and imagine many, many lascivious things about the guitarist. Not sure of his name because I don’t really like too many Whitesnake songs so I don’t keep up with the usual info that I have on other bands, but holy smokes is he hot! He gets down on his knees and plays his guitar like nobody’s business! Mmmmm, it gave me chills the first time I saw it. LOL

However, if you don’t have VH1 Classic or you didn’t record the video in your glorious teen years, chances are you won’t see it. I got lucky I guess. And I could be totally wrong and you can get it anywhere. I don’t know. I’m just saying…

Anyway, the song rocks; makes you wanna grab your honey and do wicked things to him/her and you get to experience a musical orgasm that lasts 36 seconds, or 1 minute and 15 seconds. WOW. It all depends on how you look at it.
